Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Log.Sec currently is the largest IT services provider at Aberdeen Proving Ground in Maryland, a key benefactor of the Defense Base Closure and Realignment Commission (BRAC). The company has 385 employees concentrated at Aberdeen and Fort Monmouth, N.J. "With BRAC activities expected to increase the amount, nature and scope of work for the Aberdeen Test Center, CSC is ideally positioned for new contracting opportunities," said James Sheaffer, the president of CSC's North American Public Sector business. Log.Sec will become part of CSC's Defense Division. One measure increases the number of company shares from 4.5 billion to 8 billion, while a second move gives the company's board the power to effect a reverse stock split of between 1-for-10 and 1-for-50. The stock opened at $0.14 on Friday, down from nearly $4 a year ago.
